Brigid Rentoul manages Winton’s in-house legal and compliance functions and is responsible for providing legal, strategic and business counsel to the firm. She is a member of the firm’s executive management committee and is an Executive Director of Winton.

Brigid joined Winton in 2012 from Linklaters, where she was a leading international securities lawyer and a partner for 15 years. Brigid previously worked at Davis Polk & Wardwell in New York and London.

Outside of Winton, Brigid is a member of the Hedge Fund Lawyers Association and sits on the global regulatory committee of the Standards Board for Alternative Investments. She also supports the charity City Pay It Forward, which aims to improve the financial literacy of primary school children, and is a trustee of CW+, the official charity of Chelsea and Westminster Hospital NHS Foundation Trust.

Brigid read law at Cambridge University and was a Mellon Fellow at Yale Law School.
